We pay attention not only to what we do, but also how we do it.

We’re interested in group dynamics which allow for the entirety of a person’s experience to be explored and communicated safely (if they wish it).

We want to create a safe space where everyone’s voice can be heard and where people feel secure enough to challenge each other or talk about tough topics.

Working together
In any group situation it’s almost a given that differing opinions will arise and in fact we lean into conflict, tension and differences, inviting all voices to be heard.
When highly emotive or difficult issues come up which need some conflict resolution, we use the tool of Deep Democracy along with a predetermined Resolution Process to ensure all parties feel comfortable.

Details of this process and how we work together overall can be found in our constitution.
As well as creating a safe space in which to get to know each other, we also prioritise authenticity and transparency in our work. This means we’re open about how we operate and our finances, ensuring that everyone is on equal footing as they enter and begin working with us.
You can find more about our finances on the Open Collective here. We are currently working on how we can ensure that our future work is communicated clearly and openly. If you have any ideas, please let us know!
