Grant-making
We have received funding from Lankelly Chase to begin our work (you can see how funding is spent via our page on Open Collective here).
We may eventually put this in to a Participatory Grant-Making process (or a PGM), as this allows both funders and grantees to decide together how money should be spent in the community.
A PGM process usually focuses on:
Those who have funds to distribute would also be welcome to join us in this process.
Placing those who are affected by funding around the table where decisions are made.
Distributing resources to those who are already working differently, under the radar and outside of the status quo. We’re especially interested in less visible grassroots organisations.
Building connections between those taking part and allowing for discussion between those who have varied experience and interests.
